Workshop Summary:
Fall in love with your scene partner and their characters. This workshop will focus on scenes that don't require you to invent but instead discover the subtle choices that your scene partner makes and then fall in love with those choices unconditionally, flaws and all. From within these simple choices and blind love, the comedy that comes with real relationships will emerge.
About Will Luera:
Will Luera is an acclaimed comedic improviser, director, and global educator known for his culturally-sensitive, fast-paced, and emotionally grounded approach to improvisation. He has taught Master Classes in comedic improv across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, working with performers of all experience levels to unlock spontaneity, deepen character work, and sharpen comedic timing. Will is the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston, Director of Big Bang Improv, and former Director of Improvisation at Florida Studio Theatre. His workshops blend classic improv fundamentals with his signature Free-Form philosophy, empowering students to find truth, humor, and connection in every scene.
