Run for Jim 2025

Run for Jim will be at Hard'ack this year! Join us by walking or running in a 5k on the trails of Hard'ack. The day will also be packed with fun activities before and after the race - including corn hole, raffles, food and drink, music and more!

The Run for Jim Memorial Fund was established in memory of Jimmy Bashaw who died at the age of 45 from brain cancer. Jimmy was a teacher and longtime girls’ basketball coach at Bellows Free Academy of St. Albans. Jimmy’s family and friends wish to remember him by continuing his kind and charitable ways by helping others in their time of need. The proceeds of this event are used to aid residents of Franklin and Grand Isle counties with expenses related to catastrophic illnesses. These awards are distributed through the Jim Bashaw Memorial Fund at the Northwestern Medical Center.

5k Run/Walk at 10am
Kids Races at 9am

Categories include:
2-4 year olds (Biddy Bashers 100 Meter Dash)
5 & 6 year olds: 1/8 mile
7 & 8 year olds: 1/4 mile
9 & 10 year olds: 1/2 mile
