Pilgrims of Hope: Summer Scripture Seminar with Fr. José Cabrera

The year before his death, Pope Francis declared 2025 as a Year of Jubilee centered on the theme, "Pilgrims of Hope." It is now Pope Leo XIV who continues the journey of hope with the Church on earth. In this August's Summer Scripture Seminar, join Fr. José Cabrera for an exploration of Scriptural passages which invite us to see ourselves as "a pilgrim people" — as well as biblical passages that relate to theme of hope. This is a perfect opportunity to reinvigorate the spirit of the Jubilee halfway through this special year. For more information about the Year of Jubilee, see Pope Francis' Bull of Indiction, "Spes Non Confundit" ("Hope does not disappoint”), which is a phrase from St. Paul in his Letter to the Romans, 5:5.
