The Art of Rachel Fish

Rachel Claire Fish

1985 -1987 studied fine art at Oldham College. Rachel began her fine art practice as a watercolourist, she has since moved to oil paints & charcoal and her work has become more expressive as a result. She is also a member of the Saddleworth Group of Artists and is very interested in landscape, history and folklore of Saddleworth which inspires a lot of her work.

In 2015, Rachel also, designed the CD album cover, “Soy Mujer” for Gloria Estefan. Gloria Estefan has been Rachel’s inspiration, behind her creations, for nearly 30 years.

An introduction to the exhibition

The official preview and “meet the artist” event will be held on Sunday 24th August. This exhibition will be free to view from 1 to 4 pm daily and will be held in the community gallery at Saddleworth Museum from Saturday 23rd August to Sunday 21st September.
