About the Performers:
Eli Conley (he/him) is a folk/country singer-songwriter, teaching artist, and activist. He makes music for queer and trans folks, justice seekers, and anyone who doesn’t fit in a box. He will be accompanied at this show by Benjamin Kopf on upright bass and Tom Shewmake on mandolin and guitar. Eli's voice is tender and heartfelt, with melodies that can leave you teary-eyed yet hopeful. As a queer transgender man from the South, his songs tell stories that aren’t always reflected in roots music. Eli has opened for Carsie Blanton, Heather Mae, The Mary Wallopers, and Grammy-winner Kimya Dawson, and been featured in Newsweek, the Huffington Post, the Advocate, and NPR's All Things Considered.
Michael Alexander Aoun (they/he) is a Lebanese-American bass-baritone whose passion for interdisciplinary and collaborative art inspires their professional work. They recently completed a master's degree at Bard College Conservatory of Music. An all-or-nothing person, Michael views music as a means of exploring one’s whole self and creating something entirely unique. They feel strongly about their art reflecting their values of authenticity and human connection. Michael is deeply dedicated to advocacy and social justice. Their gender expression/identity and neurodivergence (ADHD) have taught them to listen to those who are different and to stay engaged as an activist. Through their art, they seek to elevate and facilitate difficult conversations around xenophobia and systemic oppression.
Dogprayer is a duo comprised of Manola Secaira (she/her) and Charles Skilling (he/they). They mix moody vibes and sweet harmonies for a queer indie bedroom pop sound.

We value the goodness in every person, the openness and curiosity that illuminate that goodness, and the love and courage that sustain us.
