Spring Nature Walks

Saco Bay Trails' annual Spring Nature Walks, led by local birder & naturalist Josh Fecteau, will return to lovely Laurel Hill Cemetery this May.

Morning Bird Walks: Thursdays, May 8, 15 & 22 at 7:00 AM – These walks to the riverside and back will focus on observing birds with our eyes and ears. Be sure to bring a pair of binoculars, if you have them! The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Afternoon Phenology Walks: Thursdays, May 8, 15 & 22 at 3:00 PM – These walks will likely cover less ground, and will focus on the changing landscape as spring unfolds. We'll be birding, for sure, but also paying attention to wildflowers, trees, insects, and more. The walk will last approximately 1 hour.

Location: We'll park and meet in the lot by the chapel at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 293 Beach Street, Saco, ME.
