Saco Ride of Silence 2025

For the fifth year in a row, the Saco Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is inviting community members to participate in the International Ride of Silence! This year’s ride will take place on Wednesday, May 21, at 6:30 PM.

The International Ride of Silence is hosted in more than 400 locations around the world with the purpose of honoring cyclists and pedestrians who have been injured or killed while walking or cycling on public roadways and to raise awareness of the importance of sharing the road.

Participants should meet in the parking lot of the Dyer Library at 6:30 PM to allow time for individuals to congregate. The ride will start promptly at 7:00 PM.

The local route is less than three miles, centered around downtown Saco, and suitable for all ages and skill levels. A helmet is required for all participants, and bicycle lights are encouraged.
