BVFM Presents a Concert for Saco Student Musicians

Join the Bach Virtuoisi Festival Maine and Saco Strings for a special live performance celebrating the talented students of the Saco School District Music Department!

Experience the inspiring music of J.S. Bach performed by world-class musicians — up close and personal. This is a unique opportunity for aspiring young musicians to enjoy a professional concert for free, hosted especially in their honor.

While we are pleased to present this opportunity to Saco school students and their families on a complimentary basis, we also welcome attendees to donate to the Festival's, work by selecting the "donation" option during checkout.

Presented with pride by the Bach Virtuosi Festival Maine — The Festival, founded by violinist Lewis Kaplan, offers residents of Maine a world-class concert series for lovers of the baroque repertoire since 2016. Our concert season includes:

All students in the Saco Schools have the opportunity to learn a string instrument starting in the 3rd grade. Students can choose to play violin, viola, cello or bass. The music program continues through twelve grade at the middle and high schools. Students perform regularly throughout the school year and have opportunities to participate in state-wide festivals beginning in 6th grade.
