Paws Up for Bingo

4 Paws will be having a Bingo Night fundraiser at the amazing Board and Bottle to raise money for Maia's heartworm treatments. The event is free to attend, but please donate if you can.

Maia was found in Shreveport, completely neglected. She was on a very short chain with no food, water or shelter. She was covered in fleas and emaciated. Her mentally challenged owner was living in a decrepit house with no water or electricity, when the neighbors called it in. A perfect example of "See something, Say something!" As they both were in desperate need of help. Officials found a facility for him, and we took her. Any outside dog that isn't on a preventative, will get heartworms, and the treatments are quite expensive. We can't adopt out a heartworm positive dog, so we need to cover the cost of her treatment, so she can find her furever home. This poor girl has suffered enough, it's time for us humans to show her the tender, loving care she deserves.
