The rhythm of Northland is all around us – in the rise and fall of the tide, the rustle of bush, the cry of seabirds, and the stories we tell through art.
This Labour Weekend, Little Black Gallery in Kerikeri invites you to experience Rhythm of the North, our exhibition for KOAST – Tai Tokerau Art Trail.
Step inside and discover paintings that echo shifting skies, ceramics alive with glowing glazes, jewellery inspired by the land and sea, and sculptures that seem to move with the breath of the North. Each piece reflects the pulse of Tai Tokerau – sometimes quiet, sometimes bold, always deeply connected to place.
As the only gallery in Kerikeri dedicated to supporting local artists, we’re proud to present this special collection during KOAST, one of New Zealand’s largest open art trails. Whether you’re a seasoned art lover or just curious, this is a chance to slow down, explore, and feel the rhythm of Northland through the eyes of its artists.
