Introduction to Cyanotype Printing

Join Clare for this 2 hour guided workshop making your own beautiful prints on paper to take home.


A cyanotype is a type of photogram (camera-less photograph) and is one of the oldest photographic techniques.
The name of this technique is derived from the distinctive blue colour of the finished prints.
In this 2 hour workshop you will be guided on how to apply the special cyanotype emulsion to paper, then learn how to make bookmarks and prints using pressed flowers and leaves, feathers and pre printed digital negatives. See the FAQ For more details.
All materials are supplied and the finished items are yours to take home.
Although there will be aprons and gloves provided, wearing old clothes is advisable as the liquids you will be handling can stain.
