The Shun Run – August 16
🏁 3.5 miles. 4 hours. 5 bars. 1 goal: Glory.
Get ready for the most absurdly entertaining “race” of the year—The Shun Run. This ain’t your average 5K. This is 3.5 miles of costumed chaos, ice-cold beer, and unfiltered fun through the streets of Mechem, NM.
👟 Not timed. No medals. Just mayhem.
📸 Competitors get their pic snapped at the starting line. Those photos go live in a Facebook poll and from there it’s a public vote to crown the best-dressed finisher. Doesn’t matter if you’re fast, just finish in style.
🏁 The Route:
• Start: At or near 407 Mechem
• Stop 1: Casa Blanca
• Stop 2: El Camino Nuevo
• Stop 3: Anaheim Jacks
• Stop 4: Farleys
• Finish Line: Jacks Backstage
(Beer at every stop included, and maybe some bonus shenanigans.)
💸 $30 entry includes:

✔️ A shot at winning the prestigious 2025 Shun Run Championship Belt
🍺 21+ only. IDs checked.

You’ve got 4 hours to complete 3.5 miles and party along the way.
