Guided Bat Walk - Cannock Chase

Join our countryside ranger team, as they show you the brilliant world of bats! Cannock Chase is home to a variety of bat species, which our ranger team monitor and carry out vital conservation work, to ensure these species thrive.

On the walk, you will get a chance to learn all about the bats on Cannock Chase, their habitats, conservation work and monitoring. You will also get the chance to use one of our bat detectors, to see if you can identify which bats are swooping past!

Don't forget to wrap up warm, bring a torch/headtorch and suitable clothing, as it can drop cold in the evenings.

Price: £10.00 per person. Well behaved children under 12 go free.

This event is booked on a first come first served basis. The event capacity if capped, due to safety. If you have not reserved a space, you will be turned away.
Please note this event may be cancelled with very short notice, as bats do not like heavy rain or bad wind.
