This session will last approx 2 and a half hours and will begin with a delicious cup of ceremonial grade Cacao to set our intentions, served by the lovely Trudi a Cacaoista @The Little CWITCH. The session will include an opening ceremony, singing, drumming together, a drum journey and sharing of experiences if you want to.
We will be held in beautiful private woodland for this event and there will be lots of drums to borrow but do bring whatever drums and rattles you have and any songs you would like to share as there will be time for you to bring your medicine to the circle if you wish.

I am Laura and I will be hosting the drum circle. I am a Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra Teacher and I am a qualified Usui Reiki Master and trained as a spiritual healer, and in the last 10 years learning core shamanism and soul language.
I have been loving drumming and singing and dancing with my drum for 7 years, with teachers from Wales, Kent, Holland and USA.
I am also part of a beautiful Kirtan company in North Kent, led by the amazing Michelle Crozier.
I have also worked with amazing women in Wales following the Life Spiral and held sacred space and ceremony for Birthing, Marriage and Dying and everything in between.
Trudi - I have worked with Cacao every day for 3 years after discovering her medicine nearly a decade ago. I have experienced her magic and feel her to truly be my allie and such an important part of our journey today. She is an ancient plant medicine, shared in ceremony over thousands of years, rich in anti-oxidants, minerals and natural chemicals, already found within our bodies, offering an all enhancing, heart opening experience.
The Mayan and Inca tribes have worked with Cacao, known as "The Food of the Gods" for centuries, knowing how incredible her gifts are. When drinking Cacao as medicine, her bitter taste flows straight to our hearts, allowing for a feeling of deep relaxation, openness and connection to whatever we are doing whether that be meditation, yoga, dance or drumming, cacao will help us dive deep, allowing our journey to unfold joyfully.
There is an Inca prophecy that states - "When the medicine of the Cacao tree that grows beneath the low lying mountains enters the wider field of humanity, we will know that we are in the midst of an awakening".
After offering Cacao ceremonies for 2 years and becoming a certified "Cacaoista" I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to work alongside some extremely beautiful and knowledgable women this year and share the magic of Cacao
