Kids Create is an after school club for Primary and Secondary school age children. With school funding being cut for creative subjects, we at Arty Farty Retreat aim to bring back creativity into children's lives. We aim to help your children express themselves, socialise and collaborate with their peers and learn new skills with different projects each week.

Next term join us for a fun and creative 7-week after-school course where children work together to create their very own illustrated storybook. Each session guides them through the full process of making a book—from dreaming up characters and writing the story to illustrating and assembling the final product.

Along the way, they’ll learn about the work of three inspiring illustrators: Quentin Blake, Shaun Tan, and Beatrix Potter, and explore different styles and techniques. Perfect for primary school-aged children who love stories, drawing, and working as a team. At the end of the course, the group will proudly present their finished book to family and friends.
