SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN - CoM Event: National Walk for Mothers and Mental Health

Across the country, moms and kids are struggling — and the numbers are sobering:

1 in 4 moms can’t get help for their child’s mental health when they need it
Over half of moms with K–12 kids are worried about their children’s mental health
When kids are struggling, moms are too: 66% of moms who worry about their kids also report difficulty caring for their own mental health

That’s why on October 4th, the Southeast Michigan Chapter of Chamber of Mothers will be joining the National Walk for Mothers’ Mental Health, representing my community in ROYAL OAK, MI.

We'll be meeting on the steps outside the Royal Oak Library and doing a short walk around the area. Partners, children, and strollers welcome. After the walk, join us inside the library for an informal playdate!
