Craig John Davidson (laulaja-lauluntekijä, Aberdeen, Skotlanti)
Vuonna 2021 ensivierailunsa Suomeen tehnyt skotlantilainen laulaja-lauluntekijä Craig John Davidson palaa elokuun lopulla Suomeen seitsemän soolokeikan mittaiselle visiitille. 2000-luvun alusta asti omaa musiikkiaan tehnyt ja ahkerasti ympäri Eurooppaa ja Pohjois-Amerikkaa kiertänyt Craig julkaisi edellisen, seitsemännen pitkäsoittonsa "Tickets to the Sea" keväällä 2022, jonka ensimmäinen sinkku "Ever Had" päätyi elokuisen julkaisunsa yhteydessä samantien BBC Scotlandin viikon biisiksi. Tämän jälkeen hän on päätynyt tekemään yhteistyötä Badly Drawn Boyna tunnetun Damon Goughin kanssa, ensin Badly Drawn Boyn 25-vuotisjuhlakeikkojen lämmittelijänä ja nyt Damonin "One Last Fruit"-levy-yhtiön ensimmäisenä kiinnityksenä.
Yhteistyön ensimmäisenä hedelmänänä on perjantaina 1.8. tipahtanut suoratoistoihin kappale nimeltä Souvenir, ja lisää on luvassa syksyn aikana kokonaisen minialbumin verran. Levytyksillä Craigilta on kuultu niin tunnelmallista folk-näppäilyä kuin indievetoista bändisoundiakin, joka maistuu varmasti esim. Elliott Smithin, nykyaikaisen kitaraindien tai brittiläisen folkrockin hämyisempien klassikkojen ystäville. Souvenir yhdistelee näitä puolia upealla tavalla ja lupaa erittäin hyvää tulevalle levylle. Suomen keikat Craig vetää intiimisti soolona, satojen keikkojen suvereeniksi hiomalla otteella.

L. Don Ōkami on tamperelaistuneen Don Lupon erikoisemmmissa banjohankkeissa käyttämä salanimi. Donin tie on kulkenut synnyinseuduiltaan Etelä-Carolinasta Japanin, Irlannin ja Saksan kautta Tampereelle, jonka marginaalimusiikkiskeneen hän on integroitunut täysin, ollen kotonaan niin bluegrass-jameissa kuin improvisoimassa banjolla melun, feedbackin ja elektronisten äänimaisemien seassa. Taiteilijanimellä "L. Don Ōkami" hän tekee lähinnä jälkimmäisen kategorian ääntä, ja kiertueella kuullaan mm. musiikkia syyskuun alussa julkaistavalta Banjo Machine Music-albumilta, juurevampia otteita Appalakkien musiikkiperinteestä unohtamatta.

Kadonnut Manner on suomussalmelaislähtöisen, nykyisin Rovaniemellä asuvan Lauri Mannerin soolokitarakeikoillaan käyttämä taiteilijanimi, jona esiintyessään hän ammentaa vaikutteensa American Primitive Guitar -koulukunnan fingerpicking-kitaroinnista, Skip Jamesin ja Mississippi John Hurtin country bluesista, pohjoisista korpimaisemista ja vilkkaasta mielikuvituksestaan. Kainuulais-primitivististä instrumentaalikitarointia teräskielisellä akkarilla esittävä, blues-perinnettä kosmisempiin konteksteihin sovitteleva Manner on ehtinyt aloitettuaan 2017 kiertää Eurooppaa noin 500 keikan verran sekä julkaista neljä albumillista omaa musiikkiaan. Konsertissa päästään kuulemaan musiikkia näiltä julkaisuilta sekä aivan uutta viidennelle albumille sävellettyä materiaalia.

Craig John Davidson is a Scottish singer-songwriter signed to One Last Fruit. Recording and releasing music since the early 2000’s, Craig has gained a loyal fanbase through touring the U.K. Europe as well as the United States. With his remarkable fingerstyle playing ability Craig mixes sounds of acoustic indie rock with his root inspiration of folk, blues and beyond. His long-awaited new single "Souvenir" will be available on all major streaming platforms from 1.8.2025
"Souvenir" is a wistful and introspective track that explores the theme of letting go of meaningless memories a dreamy acoustic reflection on the emotional clutter we often carry. True to Davidson's distinctive indie-folk style, the track was recorded and produced at his personal home studio, Cherry Row Studios, capturing an intimate and unfiltered sonic atmosphere. This single marks the first release from Craig's forthcoming minialbum that promises more of his signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and melodic honesty. Acoustic guitarist Kadonnut Manner ("The Lost Continent", the solo instrumental fingerpicking alias of Lauri Manner of Rovaniemi, Finland) will perform his guitar magic featuring adventures in exploring history and new possibilities blues and roots music, mesmerizing travelling and storytelling without any words, foot-stomping rhythms, riffs and melodies that will get stuck to your head and other things you have very probably have not heard before.
Kadonnut Manner's hypnotic, raw, and cinematic instrumental music invokes vivid imagery in the heads of those who hear it faster than any chemical would. The music draws its influences from John Fahey school of American Primitive Guitar playing, country blues of Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt and Finnish folk music. It expands the country blues form with things borrowed from different folk traditions, 20th century classical music and other inspiring sources, but doesn't require any prior knowledge from the listener, only an open mind. Expect lots of open tunings, driving rhythms and a deep journey into unseen worlds created by just one steel stringed acoustic guitar.

L. Don Ōkami (psychedelic banjo, Tampere)
L. Don Ōkami is the nom de banjo of Tampere transplant Don Lupo from South Carolina via Switzerland, Germany, Japan and Ireland.
After many years focusing on traditional music from the southern US, he has started exploring the space between traditional folk music, drones, noise and banjo with the aid of loops, effects and collaborators.
His first solo album “Judgement Day in Pyynikki” was released on Hulina Records in 2018, with his second "Banjo Machine Music" set to release at beginning of September this year.
His performances are musical journeys weaving between hard-core traditional Appalachian folk, own songs in a similar style, and trance-inducing banjo instrumentals supplemented by loops and effects.
