Car Seat Check Event - By Appointment Only

Kick off Safe Kids Month with us at a special Car Seat Check Event at Riverside Fire District in Rothschild! Appointments are required. To schedule an appointment, visit: https://form.jotform.com/250615336085152 or call/text 715-575-1645 by Noon on 4/30/2025.


What happens at a car seat check?

~ A certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) will:
Check the car seat for recalls, visible damage, and an expiration date.

~ Review that the seat selected is appropriate for your child’s age and size.

~Educate you on correct car seat installation and use, safest practices, state laws, and next steps for your child - like when to move to the next seat type!

~Coach you through installing the car seat and answer any questions.

After your car seat check, you should feel confident that you’ve learned an important skill to keep your child safe.
