Let’s celebrate the sounds and sights of spring together. Join us for a nature festival featuring birds, bugs, bees, bats, a NATIVE PLANT SALE with Cottage Garden Natives, and more! There will be live animal encounters including meet & greet opportunities with native birds of prey, nature exhibits, talks with scientists, games and activities, arts & crafts, and more! When you need a break from the activities, step out to enjoy trail access to creeks, waterfalls, wetlands, granite outcrops, and many more ecosystems along the cabin trails and the trail connection to our local city’s 800+ acre Cochran Mill Park.
BIRD OF PREY SHOW @ 1 PM - Come and support fellow environmental educators at Nature's Echo and their visiting bird friends! Learn about different kinds of birds of prey and meet them up close and personal.
Special "Vinny the Vulture" stickers (featured in the event artwork by artist @roguehorses) are available in the gift shop!

This is a community effort in partnership with multiple organizations to help raise awareness for the important native creatures and ecosystems that Georgia depends on. Proceeds from this event help Bear Creek Nature Center to continue its mission to spread the joy of nature and the outdoor world through our environmental education and conservation efforts.
Admission includes access to all talks, activities, and trail & canoe access. Additional funds may be used to purchase gift shop or vendor items including the native plant sale. All of our vendors are local community members who help raise awareness about nature and our mission. Food will be sold separately through local food trucks, Big Pat's Bar-Bee-Que and Snacks on the Go. Follow us @bearcreekatl or visit our website to get updates about special workshops and partners joining us.
