The Artemis Mounykhia Congregation cordially invites you to join us as we celebrate our libation ritual to Athene/Athena at Big Trees Forest Preserve in Roswell, GA.
We meet every second Saturday in the parking lot by the entrance to Big Trees by around 12:45 PM and then proceed down to our ritual spot around 1:00 PM.
Please make sure to give us a heads-up if you're coming, so that we can look/wait for you. You can usually spot us as the small group of weirdos, often with brightly colored hair (usually by a white Ford hatchback or sometimes under a tree at the edge of the parking lot, near the entrance).
Also, no need to bring anything, but yourself. But if you'd like to bring a small statue or liquid offering, feel free to do so (though we usually try not to bring alcohol in, per park rules. And also only pour things that will not harm the land. Olive oil is usually what we pour ourselves and have plenty for anyone making offerings!).
