The first in our series of "Talks on the Tide" will take place at Burrow (Rosslare) on the beach on Wednesday 20th August. Join us at our distinctive black charred round table and chairs to contribute to our conversation about "Nature based solutions" in tackling climate change. With artist and world champion free-diver Nina McGowan. All welcome.
What is your experience of living by the beach, have you seen changes over recent years? What can individuals or community groups do to contribute to actions around climate change?
Time: 2-3.30pm
Facilitators: Jim Hurley, naturalist and SWC Promotions and Staff from Trinity College Dublin
These talks are running in parallel with an exibition at Wexford County Hall as part of the House on the Beach project. It is a recipient of the Creative Climate Action fund, an initiative from the Creative Ireland Programme.
