Roselle Memorial Library Kid’s Healthy Heart Program (K-3)

As part of October’s Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month activities, The Aliver Foundation is holding a Kid’s Healthy Heart Program for kindergarten - 3 grade children with the Roselle Memorial Library on Thursday, October 9th from 3:30pm - 4:15pm.

We’ll read “Pacey the Happy Heart,” chat with students about the benefits staying hydrated, getting a good night’s sleep, physical activity, and eating well can have on the heart.

We’ll also discuss the importance of calling 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency so that the helpers will come.

We’ll read together, color “Pacey",” decorate paper tubes, and use our “stethoscopes” to listen to one another’s hearts.
