Roselle Family Friendly Community Event at Bud Simmons / Pine Street Park

The Aliver Foundation partnered with our friends at the Borough of Roselle and the Roselle Police Department for National Night Out 2025. After speaking with Jermaine Randle that evening and learning about the fatal cardiac arrest that took place in Bud Simmons / Pine Street Park, we determined, immediately, that this would be our next equipment donation.

Please join the Borough of Roselle, Roselle Police Department, and Roselle Fire Department on October 15h at 5:30pm for a family friendly community event hosted by The Aliver Foundation to celebrate the donation of a lifesaving equipment bundle consisting of a CE TEK 4000 Outdoor AED Enclosure along with a Heartsine Samaritan 350P AED to Bud Simmons / Pine Street Park.

“This lifesaving device allows residents of the Borough to begin critical care before first responders arrive, giving the victim a significantly better chance of survival while the 911 system is activated,” Fire Chief Christopher Laba.
The evening will feature a touch-a-truck featuring fire trucks and police vehicles and a stethoscope craft for children. An interactive CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillator) demonstration will be held by the Roselle Police Department.

"These devices turn bystanders into heroes and moments of crisis into second chances,” said Police Chief Helder Freire.
