This summer, join in the celebration of the Rogers Historical Museum’s 50th anniversary by traveling back to when the museum first opened in 1975 to make some of the decade’s most iconic crafts. Come learn how fabric is dyed in modern times compared to how it was done in the past. Also, learn about the popular dying trend from the 1970s that is still common today—tie dye! Following the lesson participants will be able to tie dye their own shirt. Shirts will be provided, one per registrant. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration required. NOTE: Parents/Guardians are required to accompany their children at all times during the sessions.
Tickets for Tie Dye can be booked here.
