Pen Turning Workshop with the Central CT Woodturners Group

Learn about the art of woodturning at this hands-on event! Members of the Central Connecticut Woodturners will be set up in the library to guide you through turning your very own pen using their lathes. You will have the opportunity to select from pre-cut wood pen blanks. You will then assemble the pen with your choice of black, chrome, or gold hardware. Participants must be 12 years of age or older to turn a pen with adult supervision. It will take 20-30 minutes to make the pen. Drop in any time between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This is a first come-first serve basis. Feel free to browse the library while you are waiting.
