About the event

Thursday Night Talk ~ Cycling to find my grandfather’s battlefields."
Join Brett on his 600-mile epic bicycle trek through the wheat fields of northern France as he retraces an old sailors 1917
photographic trail.
He discovered his grandfather’s 1918 photos and retraced his WWI locations. Through past and present photographs, Brett will show the transition of chaotic war-torn northern France and compare it to bucolic present day.
A Lesson Learned… “We manage to persist. We will always persist. The proof is in the storytelling and this is one of those stories.”
