Located in Rockland's historic high school, Lincoln Street Center is home to Rockland's working artists.
We will be opening our doors:
Saturday, July 12th from 12pm to 4pm.
Where Louise Nevelson herself attended high school, and now a thriving art space, Lincoln Street Center is the “Art Capital of Maine’s” only artist building. The studio spaces and theater
now face imminent threat due to economic pressures and lack of maintenance. Lincoln Street Center for the Arts, the organization formed to save it, is currently in the midst of an urgent campaign to fundraise a purchase of the property from the current owner.
Come visit and hear from the artists yourself about the amazing potential the center has to offer our community as a future arts, performance and gathering space.

Our building is accessible by elevator on the basement level (side entrance, south side of the building).
