In the Outdoors: Fossil Frenzy

National Fossil Day is coming up in October, and clues to Illinois’s ancient past are hidden in the limestone that forms the bedrock of Seth B. Atwood Park. Learn about the region and what it looked like thousands of years ago.

Please meet at Atwood Center (2685 New Milford School Road) and bring comfortable closed-toe or closed-heel shoes, appropriate weather clothing, and an excitement for adventure!

In the Outdoors events are supported by Rock River Disposal. This event is FREE. Pre-registration is highly recommended and appreciated at the more info link below.
