Rock Falls River Chase

Join us for some stock outboard boat racing. This is a unique event that has been held at the same location it was back in the early 80s through the late 90s. The event made its return in 2014 after a local fan wondered what happened to the races he use to watch as a kid. The ages of racers range from 9 years old to racers in their 70s or older. Boat racers compete in several different classes of race boats ranging in speeds from around 35 mph to 80 mph + The race is brought to you by the Marine Racing Club of Illinois and American Power Boat Association along with several local sponsors. We look forward to seeing you all there and hope that you will spread the word and share this event on your Facebook page.

Food and snack vendors will be on sight both Saturday and Sunday.

This year features North American Championships for Formula A Hydro.
