Play Music on My Porch Day/Open House 2024 will be Saturday, August 38 Noon - to 8:00p.m. (Always the last Saturday in August) Location: 35 Sumner Park - across from the park.
Scheduled to appear: Caroline Smith-Hanna and Tom Ryan, Merriwick, The Winding Strings, Steve Karnisky and Sam Akin, Interlude, Michael Reynolds, Val Fowler, Dusty Road, Bill Destler and Rebecca Johnson, Brian Goewey, Pat Pauly, Almost Irish, Tim Rybinski, Miss Pat and Rory Ray, Beth Ely Sleboda, The String Chicken Trio.
1. The park is a great place to hang out.
2. Sound system provided. Some mics and cables available.
3. The porch has enough space for up to 5 people at one time (groups welcome).
4. Space available inside to store instruments and cases.
5. Bathroom available.
6. Refrigerator available.
7. Chairs or stools for performers - but bring your own for hanging out in the park.
8. BYO beverage and food to share (this is optional). Pizza provided.
9. Performers should bring their own mic(s) if you have concerns about Covid.
10. Masks are optional
11. Parking is on the street but you can park in my driveway to drop of instruments.
12. This event will happen rain or shine. If rain, we'll make music inside.
13. This event is geared toward acoustic music - Celtic, folk, country, pop, Americana, old-timey, etc.
