The Herb Heins Band
Herb’s been composing, performing and recording in Rochester and WNY since 1985. His recent projects include Papa Herb & The Sol Vibration, Got Herb?, guest performances with The Gregory Street Pilgrims tribute to The Byrds album Sweetheart Of The Rodeo, performing with members of Into The Now’s tribute to The Rolling Stones album Goat’s Head Soup and guest performances with The English Project. Herb is also a member of The Nashville Songwriters Association. Herb’s album New For You and Papa Herb & The Sol Vibration’s album One Time is available on all streaming platforms.
Rounding out the band are the following players: Jeff Bazarian, who's performed with The Honey Badgers, Bob Squad and is a founding member of Herb Heins and The Turbines, on guitar and vocals, Kevin Frisch, who's played with groups like The Almighty's, Robin Banks and The Getaways, and is a founding member of Herb Heins and The Turbines, on bass and vocals, Pat Meagher, original member of the alt jam band GUE, as well as recording with The Dady Brothers, on congas and hand percussion, and Kris Schramm, who leads his own original band called Senor Jefe, sang in the Last Waltz and Hendrix tribute shows and fixes all our guitars at his shop, K-Robin Guitars, on acoustic guitar. Rounding out the roster is drummer Todd Sloane, who, when not moonlighting for HHB, performs with local swing bands and pit orchestras.
