September Knitting Basics

Looking to get into the wonderful world of knitting? Join us for Knitting Basics, a foundational course that will help to start your knitting journey!

In this introductory class, you will learn how to:

- Find the right yarn for your needle size

- Tie a slip knot

- Use the long tail cast-on method to start a project

- Knit and purl stitches

- The basics of reading a pattern

You’ll leave having practiced these skills, and with a pattern to try your hand at at home!

Needles, yarn, and instruction sheets provided. If you have fine motor difficulties or need a built up hook, please contact Megan to discuss accommodations.
