ROC the Pitch 2025

The Rochester Institute of Technology’s Center for Urban Entrepreneurship will host its Fifth Annual Business Pitch Competition on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

If you are a business owner or an aspiring entrepreneur, this is a networking opportunity you won’t want to miss! Contestants will compete for a share of $35,000 in prizes to help grow their businesses.

This year’s contestants will include business owners from across the Finger Lakes 9-County Region and, for the first time, student teams from RIT, the University of Rochester, and St. John Fisher University.

📍 Location: Hyatt Regency Downtown Rochester💵 Admission: $20 (includes food)

In addition to the pitch competition, this year’s event will feature a Resource Fair highlighting service providers and small business vendors.

⭐ 100% of ticket proceeds will go towards the People’s Choice Award, which will be selected live by audience members.
