Awaken Your Senses with a Morning of Movement and Sound
Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Fountain Court for a one-of-a-kind experience that harmonizes mindful movement with a rich, live soundscape. This month’s Sonic Yoga is guided by Shanna Pagán, a Rochester native and heart-centered yoga instructor known for her intentional, authentic approach. Shanna views yoga as a moving meditation, crafting classes that nurture connection, clarity, and alignment with your highest self. Enhancing the journey, the resonant sonic artistry of Harold Taddy (The Gong Situation) creates an atmosphere of deep presence and transformation.
What You Can Bring:
-Yoga mat, bolsters, and layers for comfort
-Cozy socks
-A water bottle with a secure, leak-proof lid (no straws)
Important Arrival Details:
-Doors open at 9:00 am
-Check-in at the Admissions Desk no later than 9:15 am to get situated
-Please arrive on time to preserve the tranquil nature of the session
The session lasts 9:30–10:30 am, followed by a 15-minute courtesy window to ease your transition into the day. Museum admission begins at 11:00 am when the galleries open to the public.
