With rhythm and percussion driving their original compositions, the women of LADAMA sing in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Joining forces from across the Americas, they combine disparate traditional roots music with pop. The result is a sonic experience through which we can view our future as a world that communicates across continents and cultures, with sound and story.

ABOUT PASSPORT SESSIONS

Presented annually since 2010, Passport Sessions is a free outdoor music series that celebrates global traditions, cultural connection, and community through live performance in downtown Rochester.

Each concert features world-influenced music—from folk and roots to contemporary cross-cultural blends—performed by artists deeply connected to the traditions they share. Events are family-friendly, un-ticketed, and open to all.
