Hirakawa, a long-standing fixture of the Midwest jazz scene and now an active member of New York’s vibrant creative community, brings together a formidable quartet for this special performance. His critically praised 2023 album, "Pixel" on Origin Records showcases his inventive vision and sophisticated interplay through original compositions, and the harmonic and rhythmic complexity of his collaborators, affirming his place among today’s leading voices in contemporary jazz piano.

Hirakawa expands his ensemble with the addition of Stacy Dillard, a New York-based saxophonist hailed as "a young saxophonist of serious promise," and is known for his fiery sound with an original voice.
