Guvenc & Burk Orchestra brings together world-class Twin Cities musicians to explore the richness of Turkish music, blending Classical, Anatolian Rock/Pop, folklore, and Romani traditions in vibrant live performances. Led by Serdar Guvenc and David Burk, the ensemble features a diverse range of traditional and modern instruments—saz, oud, clarinet, darbuka, keyboards, and more—and often welcomes guest artists from the local music scene. In addition to concerts, the group offers educational workshops that share the depth and diversity of Turkish musical culture.

ABOUT PASSPORT SESSIONS
Presented annually since 2010, Passport Sessions is a free outdoor music series that celebrates global traditions, cultural connection, and community through live performance in downtown Rochester.
Each concert features world-influenced music—from folk and roots to contemporary cross-cultural blends—performed by artists deeply connected to the traditions they share. Events are family-friendly, un-ticketed, and open to all.
