**In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.**
NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
On Saturday, June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.
And not just any movement - in Roanoke we’re inviting you to come together to build community, in joyful, musical, art and family-filled rebellion, standing in solidarity to demand a government and economy that ensures access to opportunity and a better life for all of us.
Bring picnic blankets, instruments, art (think Daisy Art Parade big!), bubble machines, family, pets, etc. There will be live music, performance artists, and more. This is about coming together as a community, showing our numbers, and building the strength of our movement through deeper connection to one another.

Schedule
- 10am - 11:30am - listen to the band, make art, talk with one another, engage with organizers, crowd marshals, and tabling organizations, to learn more about what you can do to build this movement.
- 11:30am - 12pm - join the Juneteenth Family Reunion walk (
