Electronics Recycling Event

Roanoke residents are invited to the Public Works Service Center on Saturday, June 14, to recycle electronics. Attendees will see staff guiding cars to the unloading areas, making it a smooth process for everyone.

Accepted items include, but are not limited to: laptops, desktops, routers, tablets, monitors, televisions, printers and fax machines, docking stations, keyboards, e-readers, digital cameras, remote controls, alarm clocks, power tools with batteries removed, toasters, dehumidifiers, and game consoles.

Items that will not be accepted include: ballasts, batteries, commercial-grade electronics, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches, thermometers, and thermostats.
