Hey, Homeschool Moms!!!
We hope you’re excited for the new schoolyear (that is somehow already upon us😲)! We’d love to spend some time together with you at our monthly moms’ meetups (scheduled during the first week each month) when we are able to encourage each other and share upcoming activities and opportunities for the homeschool community. The first MMM for this new year is set to occur at Riverton Church of the Nazarene from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3. Please feel free to come and go or to stay for the whole time as you are able. In addition to the friendly chatting, we will provide some light refreshments and a printed calendar for September activities.

*This month, there will also be a PRE-meetup from 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. for moms of homeschooling high schoolers to make some plans specific to this demographic and to answer questions and provide resources specific to YOUR concerns (i.e., coursework choices for Hathaway Scholarship, dual enrollment options, help with transcripts, diplomas, graduation, and more). The high schoolers this year are looking at the possibility of a weekly P.E. time, monthly book club, and occasional game meets. They will also be invited to participate in a poetry workshop and the Poetry Out Loud competition, literature costume party, science fair, art show, spring play, math contest, and history day.
