Join the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Latino and the Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art and Culture of the Riverside Art Museum for an educator workshop on using primary resources, museum objects, and children’s books in the classroom.

Each book is geared toward upper elementary and middle school readers and comes with companion has corresponding primary resources through the Smithsonian .
This workshop is open to teachers of all grade levels and subject areas; however it may be more beneficial to upper elementary and middle school teachers, librarians, and other educators with a focus in Social Studies, English and Language Arts, ESL/ESOL, Spanish Language, Arts Education, and Science.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
