Geek Talk- Dark Skies- A Beautiful Necessity

In it's 10th year, Geek Talks are a collaboration between Fish Guy Photos and übergeek Brewing Company. This lecture series is a night of great beer, delicious food, and a wealth of knowledge shared by local naturalists, educators, researchers, and other geeks.

Join Nadia Trejo, Quogue Wildlife Refuge Environmental Educator, to learn why protecting our night skies is so important! This presentation covers how light pollution affects wildlife, the natural world, and even our health—and what we can do to fix it. From simple lighting tips to community action, discover easy ways to keep the stars shining bright for everyone to enjoy.
