Meet the Artists & Open Mic - this Thursday!

Art’s House Gallery is excited to share the beautiful mixed media work of artist and author River Maria Urke and the dynamic woven work of Kay Fritz Thursday, July 24 to Thursday, August 28, 2025. Both River and Kay combine natural elements to powerful effect. River’s rich narrative tapestries are full of intriguing imagery and detailed elements. Kay’s longtime artistic partnership with her husband, potter Bob Fritz, resulted in stunning collaborative work as shown in her series of woven vessels.

The “Meet the Artists” reception for this show will be held on Thursday, July 31 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. And to complement the work in this fabulous show, the gallery will be hosting a Poetry & Music Open Mic that same evening in the gallery from 7:30–9:00 p.m. Join us for live music by gallery favorite Hannah Kilmer along with light refreshments, good company, and great art. See you then!
