Summer Solstice Charity Walk - Twmbarlwm

If you are interested in light/medium difficulty evening hike, taking in spectacular views of Gwent? If so, this one is for you.

A 5 Mile walk in total. Our route will follow the Twmbarlwm path on the way up with signs and marshals pointing the way to the top and the Cwmcarn Forest Drive (Road) on our return to the start/finish area at the bottom car park.

Twmbarlwm is 419 m (1,375 ft) high and is a well-known landmark throughout the region. It commands extensive views over Newport, Cwmbran and out over the Bristol Channel. Bring a blanket, sit back and relax in the perfect place to witness the Sun set across some amazing views
