This workshop is designed for those interested in applied theatre and its role in fostering social change. Whether you're new to applied theatre or looking to deepen your skills, this workshop offers an understanding of how to work creatively in educational, community, or social contexts.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to turn conflict into creative opportunities, using tools like Diana Musho Hamilton’s conflict strategies and Augusto Boal’s image theatre techniques. You'll also create scenes from personal stories, making use of Maike Plath’s “cards buffet” for scene creation. The workshop concludes with project planning, helping you map out your goals and build collaborative partnerships.
