"WE NEED TO TALK" short film Premiere Screening

Married couple Tom and Claire sit in yet another session with a counsellor.

Join the multi award-winning cast and crew of the short film "We Need to Talk" for an evening of powerful short storytelling at the premiere screening in beautiful Richmond-upon-Thames. Filmed on location in Richmond, it's the latest short film from award-winning, local production company Nine Yards Films.

Written and produced by Vanessa Bailey and directed by Andrea M Catinella, the film stars TV, film and stage actor Tristan Gemmill (Coronation Street, Casualty, The Bodyguard, Twelve Angry Men), Vanessa Bailey (EastEnders, The First Team, White Gold, The Strays) and Lisa Graydon (Bridget Jones' Diary, The Good Sex Guide)

We'll be kicking off the evening with drinks and nibbles available from the bar in The Living Room, with time to socialise and relax into the evening. Then we'll head upstairs to watch the film on the big screen in The Auditorium. The screening will be followed by a relaxed and fun Q&A with the film's director, producer and cast. They'll be sharing the process (and the challenges) of bringing the film to life from the initial idea for the film, raising the finance through to filming it locally, in Richmond. There will also be some time for questions from the audience - so come ready to grill our team!

There will be a BTS photographer at the event and plenty of opportunity to grab your own photos and selfies in front of our step-and-repeat!

Prepare for an evening of entertaining and thought-provoking storytelling. This is a fantastic opportunity to get an insight into award-winning, independent filmmaking and the people behind it.
