THE GREAT BUSK

The Great Busk kicks off on June 6 with an evening of live music, community spirit, and public performance in Richmond’s City Arts District around Gallery5. Musicians of all ages and styles—solo acts, groups, and youth performers—will perform short sets across the neighborhood, filling the streets with sound and storytelling.

Each performer will collect live donations through personalized QR codes. Contributions will support the Eva Stitt School for Newcomers (for performers 18+) and Music Orchard Richmond (for those under 18). The top three fundraisers will earn a chance to perform on Gallery 5’s main stage later in June, and the top earner will receive a professional recording session at Sound of Music Studios.
