What is Sound Healing?
Sound Healing has been practiced for thousands of years to improve internal and external health issues, as well as supporting mental and emotional wellbeing.
Everything in the universe has a vibrational frequency, including the cells within your body. The vibrations made by instruments or vocals can actually interact with your body's cells to create healing results, and because our bodies are 75% water, they are a great conductor for vibrations. When a specific frequency is received, the body mimics that frequency. Multiple scientific studies have found sound to influence the body in a positive way, showing that it can help to support wellbeing and even be an effective way to relieve chronic pain, managing stress, and recovery from injuries.
