SEE IT ON 16MM: M (1931)

This Saturday, August 9, 2025, we will be hosting a screening of Fritz Lang’s 1931 film M at Oblivion Cinema & Arts! Starring Peter Lorre, Inge Landgut, Otto Wernicke, Theodor Loos, Gustaf Gründgens, Fritz Odemar, and Paul Kemp, this proto-noir German Thriller follows serial killer Hans Beckertt as he attempts to evade capture in Berlin amidst the aftermath of World War I and the social turmoil of the growing fascist uprising of the budding Nazi party in Germany. As always, we’ll be projecting on 16mm film, and as always, we hope to see you there!

Tickets are now available for pre-purchase at Oblivion Cinema & Arts and will be sold at the door while supplies last. Doors will open at 6:30 P.M., and the show will start promptly at 7:00 P.M.; this show will include an intermission. Food and beverages purchased from Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room and Lisa Cakes are welcome.
