This AAPI Heritage Month, four of the sixteen films featured at RFN Indie Fest proudly spotlight extraordinary AAPI storytellers:

BLUFF CITY CHINESE (Feature Documentary) by Chinese filmmaker Thandi Cai (Chicago) — an intimate portrait of identity, community, and history in Memphis’ Chinese American neighborhoods. Writer/cast *Emerald Dunn scheduled to appear. Screens at 12PM followed by filmmaker Q&A.

THE WOMAN WITH A NAME OR TWO (Short Post-Apocalyptic Western) by Vietnamese filmmaker *Andrew Chi Nguyen (Richmond) — a haunting vision of survival, memory, and legacy in a reimagined frontier. Screens at 2PM followed by filmmaer Q&A.

BIBLE CAMP (Short Drama) by Korean writer *Hyon Jung Lee (Los Angeles) — a tender, sharp look at family, faith, and growing up caught between two worlds. Screens at 2PM followed by filmmaker Q&A.

FAITH HEALERS (Feature Documentary) by Filipina filmmaker *Regina Aquino — a compelling exploration of belief, healing, and resilience across generations that explores sacrifice, identity, and the powerful spirit of Filipino kapwa—our shared humanity. Screens at 7PM followed by filmmaker Q&A.
